اجتماع تحضيري مصري–مغربي رفيع في القاهرة يمهّد لإطلاق لجنة التنسيق والمتابعة بين البلدين
- في خطوة دبلوماسية تعكس عمق العلاقات التاريخية بين جمهورية مصر العربية والمملكة المغربية، استضافت العاصمة المصرية القاهرة، يوم الخامس من أبريل، اجتماع كبار المسؤولين التحضيري للدورة الأولى للجنة التنسيق والمتابعة المصرية/المغربية، وذلك بمقر وزارة الخارجية والهجرة وشؤون المصريين بالخارج، تمهيدًا لانعقاد الدورة الرسمية للجنة برئاسة رئيسي الوزراء في البلدين في السادس من أبريل. وترأس الاجتماع من الجانب المصري السفير إيهاب فهمي، مساعد وزير الخارجية للشؤون العربية، فيما ترأس الوفد المغربي السفير خالد بن الشيخ، مدير الشؤون المغاربية والعربية والإسلامية بوزارة الشؤون الخارجية المغربية، بمشاركة أكثر من 50 وزارة وهيئة من الجانبين، إلى جانب سفيري البلدين، ما يعكس أهمية هذا المسار الجديد من التعاون الثنائي. وأكد السفير إيهاب فهمي أن انعقاد هذه اللجنة يمثل خطوة نوعية غير مسبوقة، باعتبارها أول آلية مؤسسية من هذا المستوى الرفيع بين البلدين، مشيرًا إلى أنها ستسهم في تعزيز التنسيق السياسي، وتطوير التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري والاستثماري، بما يحقق نقلة نوعية في العلاقات الثنائية. وأوضح أن هذه الآلية تعكس إرادة سياسية قوية لدى قيادتي البلدين، فخامة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، وجلالة الملك محمد السادس، للارتقاء بالعلاقات إلى مستويات أكثر تكاملًا، خصوصًا في القطاعات الحيوية مثل الطاقة والصناعة والزراعة والتكنولوجيا والسياحة. وشهد الاجتماع مناقشات موسعة تناولت سبل إزالة المعوقات أمام التبادل التجاري، وتسهيل حركة الاستثمارات، وتعزيز التعاون الفني، إضافة إلى دعم الشراكات في مجالات التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر مؤهلة تدعم التنمية في البلدين. كما أكد الجانب المصري أن انعقاد اللجنة يأتي في ظل ظروف إقليمية ودولية مضطربة، نتيجة النزاعات العسكرية وتأثيرها على الاقتصاد العالمي وسلاسل الإمداد، مشددًا على ضرورة تعزيز التعاون العربي لمواجهة هذه التحديات. وفي هذا السياق، جددت مصر موقفها الرافض للاعتداءات التي تمس أمن الدول العربية، بما في ذلك الاعتداءات الإيرانية على بعض الدول الخليجية، مؤكدة أهمية الحلول السياسية لتجنب التصعيد والحفاظ على استقرار المنطقة. من جانبه، أعرب الوفد المغربي عن تطلعه إلى أن تسهم هذه اللجنة في فتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون، وتعزيز فرص الاستثمار المشترك، ودعم التكامل الاقتصادي بين البلدين، بما ينعكس إيجابًا على التنمية والاستقرار في المنطقة. ومن المتوقع أن تسفر الدورة الأولى للجنة، التي ستُعقد على مستوى رئاسة الوزراء، عن توقيع عدد من الاتفاقيات ومذكرات التفاهم، بما يؤسس لمرحلة جديدة من الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين القاهرة والرباط.
- In a diplomatic move reflecting the deep-rooted historical ties between Egypt and Morocco, Cairo hosted on April 5 a high-level preparatory meeting of senior officials for the first session of the Egypt–Morocco Coordination and Follow-up Committee. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ahead of the official session scheduled for April 6 under the chairmanship of the Prime Ministers of both countries. The meeting was chaired by Ambassador Ehab Fahmy, Egypt’s Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs, while the Moroccan delegation was led by Ambassador Khalid Ben Sheikh, Director of Maghreb, Arab, and Islamic Affairs. Representatives from over 50 ministries and entities from both sides participated, along with the ambassadors of the two countries, highlighting the strategic importance of this initiative. Ambassador Fahmy emphasized that the establishment of this committee represents a significant and unprecedented step, as it is the first institutional mechanism of its kind at this high level between the two nations. He noted that it will enhance political coordination and boost economic, trade, and investment cooperation. He added that the initiative reflects the strong political will of both leaderships—President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and King Mohammed VI—to elevate bilateral relations to a more integrated and comprehensive level, especially in priority sectors such as energy, industry, agriculture, technology, and tourism. The discussions covered ways to remove obstacles to trade exchange, facilitate investment flows, and strengthen technical cooperation. They also addressed enhancing collaboration in higher education and scientific research, aiming to develop qualified human resources that support sustainable development in both countries. The Egyptian side also stressed that the meeting comes amid complex regional and international challenges, particularly due to ongoing conflicts affecting global economies and supply chains, underscoring the importance of Arab cooperation to confront these challenges. In this context, Egypt reiterated its firm rejection of any attacks threatening the security of Arab countries, including Iranian attacks on Gulf states, emphasizing the need for political solutions to avoid escalation and maintain regional stability. For its part, the Moroccan delegation expressed optimism that the committee will open new horizons for cooperation, enhance joint investment opportunities, and strengthen economic integration between the two nations. The first official session of the committee is expected to result in the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding, marking a new phase of strategic partnership between Cairo and Rabat.
